Quitting job and starting own business
Change management expert is preparing for a major step in her professional life: leaving a corporate management position and starting her own business. During her visit to Prague, she consulted with me on how to best navigate this transformation. Isn't it a challenge to take a change manager through his personal change? 😊
Business consultancy
With Marie-Noelle we met over the issues of her new career stage in France earlier this summer. Marie consulted with me about setting up a business mindset and getting her first clients. Now she has combined her holiday in the Czech Republic with further consultations on her business independence.
👉 "What was most eye-opening for me during my consultations with Jitka? The difference between the mindset of an entrepreneur and an employee. Even though I'm planning my own business, I found myself still looking at it through the perspective of an employee," Marie summarized our first round of meetings.
Cross-border cooperation
I had always wanted to work in an international environment. During my earlier employment with a multinational company, it was an easy wish to fulfill. And I am very happy that I have been able to fulfil this ambition during my time as a freelance consultant.
I am happy to be able to share my experience of leaving my job and starting my own business. I believe that I can help other daredevils and save them from many of the hiccups and dead ends that I went through myself.
From employee to entrepreneur
I keep my fingers crossed for Marie during her planned job transition and admire her courage. Going out on your own in business at a time when you have a successful career with a secure income and many status benefits, as well as a family, a mortgage and other obligations is a big leap into the unknown.
Good luck, Marie-Noelle!! ❤️
